Year Two Events

PASTRIES ‘N Petting Zoo

To celebrate the end of the semester, we brought pastries and plenty of furry friends to Ruth J. Simmons Quad! Students enjoyed Ceremony drinks and Suis treats while spending the afternoon with bunnies, guinea pigs, baby chicks, ducklings, chickens, goats, and lambs. The event offered students a welcome opportunity to unwind and connect with friends before the semester came to a close.

BOUQET MAKING

In remembrance of the events of December 13th, CCB 2028 and CCB 2029 invited students to gather in Petteruti & Leung Gallery for an afternoon of bouquet-making. Students created floral arrangements, with the option to leave their bouquets at the Van Wickle Gates as a gesture of remembrance. The event offered a space for the Brown community to come together in reflection and support.

Apple-y Ever After

In the fall, we brought students together for an afternoon of seasonal activities at Patriot’s Court! Students decorated caramel apples with their favorite toppings, painted pumpkins, and enjoyed sweets and drinks from Aroma Joe’s. The event also featured a special performance by Stone Soup, a student-run band, adding live music to the afternoon.

Year One Events

CCCHOCOLATE FACTORY

To celebrate the arrival of winter, our first-year officers provided students with the perfect treat to welcome the frosty weather: hot chocolate! At CCCHocolate, our officers assembled a full hot chocolate bar with sweet, chocolatey snacks, set to the tune of classic winter hits. To memorialize their first winter on College Hill, students made glitter-filled, light-up snow globes, both as gifts for loved ones and gifts for themselves. Nearly one hundred students brightened up their sleepy Sunday with some wintry fun!

COokies n’ capsules

The first-year officers kicked off our first semester with a super-sweet event: Cookies n’ Capsules! At this event, our officers served Insomnia cookies, complete with a decoration and toppings station, and stationery for students to write letters addressed to themselves in four years. Over two hundred students stopped by Crystal Ballroom’s autumn-themed takeover for sweet treats and even sweeter messages!
